Windows are the weak links of the building in energy saving aspect regarding heat &#8211; gain and heat &#8211; loss. But the Vinyl windows are highly efficient on this energy saving aspects.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is important not only to choose the window but also to fix it properly. Fixing the windows is not a critical task but it requires technical skills for the proper construction work, which considers energy saving aspect. It is fact that the 80% of energy loss is due to the infiltration process of air around the windows. So the proper seal around the windows can help us more in this regards.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The procedure to provide proper seal around the windows can be done by providing a 1.5 inch gap all around the window while fixing and filling the gap properly with the soft expanding foam. As a result of this work, the expanding foam will block the air infiltration process as well as the penetration of exterior water in to the building through the windows. It is better to do even small works with technical skills to build a high class building at low cost.</p>
