Burj Dubai is a building being under construction, which has to become as the worlds tallest building after the completion and occupation of the building. The construction work of this building was started on 1st February of 2005, still being under construction on its finishing stage and expected to be finished by the end of 2009. This building is located at Doha street, Dubai. The total height of this worlds tallest man made structure is 818 m (2684 Feet). This is the building, which consists largest number of floors (160 Floors) and previously the Taipei building was on this position with 101 floors (449.2 m height). Project cost of this Burj Dubai is around 4.1 million USD.
This sky scraper has been topped out on Saturday, 17th of January 2009 and I’m expecting this building to come to use on the coming new year. And it is planed to have fastest elevators in the world with the speed of 700m / Minute. That is, planed to reach the top floor from ground floor around one minute. Let’s see by the opening time of the project.
