Area text for Autocad is a lisp file that can be used for calculating the area of a required object and place the value in text format in a selected point. To use this facility in your auto cad application, just download the file in zip format from the below link and extract it in to a folder. Now you will be getting a lisp file named Area Text.

Now upload this file in to your Autocad application by using appload command. You can use the file now by using the command ATXT. Just type “atxt” in the command prompt and press space bar or enter. After that select the object of which the area you want and click in the place, where the text of that area is to be placed.
